Ingredients:
- 1 gallon whole milk
- Optional: Up to 900 g plain fresh yogurt
Instructions:
Step 1: Combine the ingredients.
➤ Add the Itaberco Tart Frozen Yogurt Mix to 1 gallon of whole milk.
Step 2: Optional: Add fresh yogurt.
➤ For a creamier texture and stronger yogurt profile, replace up to 900 g of the whole milk with plain fresh yogurt.
Step 3: Blend for at least 90 seconds
➤ Using an immersion blender, blend continuously for a minimum of 90 seconds. This fully incorporates the mix and properly hydrates the sweeteners and stabilizers.
Step 4: Cover and chill.
➤ Cover the mixture tightly and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or up to 24 hours. The mixture will naturally thicken as the stabilizers fully hydrate.
Step 5: Reblend before freezing.
➤ Blend the chilled mixture again to ensure everything is fully incorporated.
Step 5: Freeze in your soft serve machine.
