Create a rich, naturally tart frozen yogurt, or incorporate fresh yogurt for a creamier texture and more traditional yogurt profile.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Step 1: Combine the ingredients.

➤ Add the Itaberco Tart Frozen Yogurt Mix to 1 gallon of whole milk.

Step 2: Optional: Add fresh yogurt.

➤ For a creamier texture and stronger yogurt profile, replace up to 900 g of the whole milk with plain fresh yogurt.

Step 3: Blend for at least 90 seconds

➤ Using an immersion blender, blend continuously for a minimum of 90 seconds. This fully incorporates the mix and properly hydrates the sweeteners and stabilizers.

➤ Cover the mixture tightly and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours or up to 24 hours. The mixture will naturally thicken as the stabilizers fully hydrate.

Step 5: Reblend before freezing.

➤ Blend the chilled mixture again to ensure everything is fully incorporated.

Step 5: Freeze in your soft serve machine.

➤ Pour the mixture into the hopper and process according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.
